One Hayley Longbottom was seen walking about the grounds yesterday, holding hands with a Ravenclaw. Are they dating? If so, for how long? Or, are they 'Just friends' for now? Well, only time will tell, but here's the juicy details.
Sirius and Willow walked about the Gardens, the Rose Gardens, holding hands yesterday, spotted by yours truly. They had stopped to 'talk' I guess, and he had picked a beautiful red rose from the bushes, and placed it behind her ear. The red rose matched her hair perfectly if I do say so myself. Then, after the flower was in place, Hayley started blushing a little as Eddie gave her a peck on the cheek.
When interviewed, neither parties denied the stroll, the hand holding, nor the kiss and flower. Hayley didn't say anything at all, she just sort of walked off after the question was asked. And my dear friend Eddie told me it was 'None of my bloody business.' Well, another day, more gossip.
Just something like that ^

Name: Kamryn Lestrange Age: 15 Year: 5 House: Slytherin What subject are you trying out for?: Upcoming Events (Hogwarts) Writing Sample: Well, with the first Qudditch match closing up on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the students are getting very anxious. Which teams are playing at the first game? And who's on the teams? Teams have not been chosen yet, and the captions haven't even been chosen. Hogwarts teachers better get a move on it or buh-bye Quddich for the year.
In other news, it has been reported that Hogwarts has decided to have a 'Welcome Back Ball' with the traditional sorting and feast added on. I have not been able too get an interview with Professer Albus Dumbledore, or any of the other staff for that matter, but it has been announced in classes weakly. That's all the events I have for now. TTFN!

Name: Blaire Weasley Age: 15 Year: 5th House: Slytherin What subject are you trying out for?: Sports Writing Sample:
OCTOBER 17--
Last night, Slytherin steamrolled Hufflepuff in an amazing match that ended 190-30! The crowd seemed completely into the game, and was supporting mainly Slytherin with their green and silver colors.
Spectacular plays were doled out by co-captains Brianna Malfoy and Blaire Weasley! Malfoy caught the Snitch with an amazing dive, using the Wronksi Feint to fake out the Hufflepuff Seeker.
Weasley made wonderful shots, feinting at the Keeper. Both girls are spectacular players, and this reporter wouldn't be surprised to see them on a country's team in the near future!
((That sucked, sorry, running low on time))

December Horoscopes
Aries - As the year enters its last month, you'll get ready to try many things for the first time. The 1st and 2nd will be exploring days for you, and whether you make like Chris Columbus and set sail or like Neil Armstrong and blast off, you'll discover whole new worlds. The rest of the month, keep a daily log -- you'll want a record of what happens along the way. Don't get discouraged if you run into problems on the 7th -- after all, what kind of exploratory adventure would it be without a few kinks? On the 13th, you could start the day slowly, and end it supersonically! Yep, there are just days like that sometimes -- so buckle your seat belt. Do a little nesting on the 18th. You might wash the dishes, reorganize your closets or do some other cleaning. The process will calm you down, and may help you make dust-free decisions by the 21st. On the 25th, tell your loved ones that you, well ... love them. And on the 30th, make sure you have plans (and resolutions!) ready for the 31st.
Taurus -
On the 1st, the month is getting started and the year is winding down, and you are (or should be, if you aren't) reflecting on what the heck has happened this year. Stay philosophical on the 2nd, but make sure your financial situation is sound. By the 7th, you're well into a very important activity for any quotidian philosopher worth their salt: hanging out with friends and talking about what's going on. On the 13th, you wrap up a great couple of days feeling ... well, great. Bundle up and get your terrific holiday self out there the 16th and 17th, when a festive party or two are on the docket. Watch (and feel and listen and smell) for romance on the 23rd. Take it slow on the 26th -- the holidays could mean letting loose a lot of very deep feelings. On the 30th, spend the day getting grounded, and have a blast on the 31st -- what a year it's been!
(I'll do all of them for the newsletter if I get it!)
